This is one of my favorite designs for the past 10 years. It is a simple but elegant pattern that looks like it has been planted in a concrete box or a tree’s yard. It works out well with a variety of shapes.

I’ve always been intrigued by this because of the idea of concrete patterns. I’m not sure if the designers were aware of this, but the idea of repeating a pattern throughout a structure has been done in many different forms, including the concrete cube.
